Just an Ordinary Day

You are the love of my life.
Take my hand,  you are my wife.
Who could’ve known, today would be like this.
Already know,  how much I miss.

Just an ordinary day.
Drivin down the crowded freeway.
Settle down kids,  be nice to your sis.
Semi truck,  oh my god ,
Swerving to miss…….

Just an ordinary day.
Who could’ve known life would slip away.
Like a sifting man of sand.
Through your arms and into God’s hands.

Faith in God,  will get you through.
Faith in heart, will follow you.

Thanksgiving dinner yours or mine?
Secret presents at Christmas time.
Up to McDonalds with the kids.
Cutting lawns, and grocery trips.

Please Lord grant me one more day.
Given the chance.
Make sure I say.

I have never known love like this.
Yes indeed.  I am truly blessed.

With an ordinary day.
Who could have known life would slip away.
Like a sifting man of sand.
Out of your arms and into God’s hands.

Just an ordinary day.
Just an ordinary day.
Just an ordinary day.
